Who We Are
Established in 1987 by owner, Karen Car, Just Like Mom's Pastries began as a home-based business with the philosophy that cakes should not only look great but taste great too. Karen is a graduate of Johnson and Wales culinary school, and has worked as a pastry chef at some of region's finest establishments.
All of Karen's cakes are made with the freshest ingredients and real butter cream frosting, far-surpassing the expectations of her customers. In July of 2004, Karen decided to open a retail location so she could serve her treats to the entire region .In addition to her bakery, Karen also sells her cakes and pastries to local farm stands and local restaurants.
